MOD-ISH- to be, to see, to design, to style, perhaps anything that means more than the word MODERN. Examples include, "MOD-Organic, MOD-Industrial, MOD-Traditional, MOD-__this__, or MOD-__that__, this is the ISH factor.

WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT

In this blog you will be captivated by design, fashion, food and travel. The 4 quarter parts to surviving. DESIGN- encompasses us every second of everyday whether your paying attention to it or not. FASHION- well we all have to wear clothes, don't we? FOOD- I think this speaks for itself, and it's one of my serious addictions. TRAVEL- because I cannot get enough of it! So here I am ready, willing and able to inform you on how I see it!

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

The word MOD-ISH was thought up by yours truly in trying to describe my own design estetic. I wanted a new word other than eclectic, thats when I made up the word MOD-ISH. My style as well as personality is derived from this word. Modern design is very much my steez but I'm also much more. I play with organic materials and shapes. I also love adding unexpected items into the spaces I create. I have an appreciation for the raw aspect of industrial design. But now don't get me all wrong I do enjoy all of these elements but I have to make an enviornment warm, comfortable and cozy.

HERE IT GOES

Ok so this is my first blog post ever! Here I am, I have been talking about doing this for some time now and I decided to move it or loose it. I believe all of this began New Years 2010. It was my 1 year mark of officially graduating college. A time when stress began to rule my body. I made way too many New Year Resolutions with very high expectations. Some of which I am going to begin now 6 months later. But hey better late than never. So let the journey begin and I'm taking you all along for the ride.
